People Pay: Welcome to the Future of Better Banking with FCB
Enjoy the convenience of banking where, when, and how you want with FCB’s People Pay. A product that’s changing the way FCB customers are able to bank online and through their mobile devices, People Pay allows users to take advantage of the digital age by letting them make electronic payments right from their phone.
All You Need Is:
- A transaction account with FCB1
- Enrollment in Online & Mobile Banking
- A smartphone
- Your recipient’s email address and / or mobile phone number
People Pay Benefits:
- Payment Options: Senders can choose from a variety of payment options, including by email or text message (which allows the Recipient to choose their preferred payment method), Direct Deposit, and check2
- Flexibility: Senders can edit or cancel a payment as long as it holds an “Unclaimed” status
- Alerts: Both Senders and Recipients of payments are notified by email or text regarding important transaction information
- Transaction Monitoring: Users can review their incoming and outgoing payments, allowing them to keep track of their People Pay activity in real-time
- Delivery: Recipients no longer have to wait weeks in order to receive and transfer payments into their accounts
- Eco-Friendly: Utilizing People Pay eliminates the need for use of cash and checks2
- Contact List: Users can add Recipients to their contact list via email address or phone number, allowing for a quicker payment process

You are permitted no more than six (6) transfers and withdrawals, or a combination of such to your other accounts or to a third party per month or statement cycle. PEOPLE PAY TERMS & CONDITIONS
I understand that by selecting the People Pay service through Florida Community Bank’s (FCBs) Consumer Electronic Banking and accepting these terms and conditions, I authorize the Bank to post transactions generated by People Pay through my FCB account to another account at a domestically located U.S. financial institution for payment to another recipient. I understand and agree that the Bank uses a variety of banking channels and facilities to make payments, but will ordinarily use an Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network for People Pay transactions. All payments to another person made through People Pay are subject to all terms and conditions within this Agreement and all other agreements connected with my accounts.
In addition, I understand that I may receive funds through the People Pay service from a payment generated by another person. I hereby acknowledge that the receipt of money from another person is subject to the terms and conditions of other account agreements between me and Florida Community Bank.
I understand and agree that when I initiate a payment from my account using People Pay, the processing of the payment will begin and the debit from my account may occur immediately. Receipt of the funds by the recipient will be dependent on the acceptance of the payment by the recipient and whether information requested from the recipient has been provided.
I understand and agree that the Bank is relying upon the information I provide when originating a payment on my behalf. Any errors, including incorrect or inconsistent recipient names, email addresses, mobile phone numbers or account numbers are my responsibility. I understand and agree that the Bank has no responsibility to investigate discrepancies between names, email addresses, mobile phone numbers or account numbers. I further understand and agree that financial institutions holding recipient accounts are not responsible for investigating discrepancies between names and numbers, and may credit an account even if the account number and name do not match.
Cut-Off Times. Depending on the type of payment method selected, payments conducted through People Pay may be completed in real time (i.e. instantaneously) or there may be a delay in the debiting and/or crediting of a particular account. I understand and acknowledge that there may be a delay in the debiting and/or crediting of funds through People Pay.
People Pay Limitations. There are transaction limits for payments to another person through the People Pay service. The limits are determined by your selected payment method, as described in the following table:

Fees. Your account will be charged a fee of $0.00 for each successful transaction sent.
Cancellation of Payment. A payment request that has been initiated through Contact Information may not be canceled unless the recipient has not yet accepted the payment. Inquiries on cancellations must be directed to the Bank’s Customer Service at 1-877-557-3635. I understand that once initiated, the Bank may be unable to cancel a transaction.
Expired Payments. Payments conducted through Contact Information will expire after 10 calendar days.
Rejection of Payments. Payments to another person may not be completed for various reasons, in our sole discretion. For example, if information provided for the recipient is inaccurate or if identity verification is not completed, the payment may be placed on hold or the amount of the payment may be returned to your account. Similarly, if you have insufficient funds in your accounts or the payment is otherwise prohibited by the terms of this Agreement, the payment may not be completed. An email [or text message?] alert will be sent notifying you of the error.
Insufficient Funds. I will reimburse FCB immediately upon demand for any transaction amount delivered for which my account does not contain sufficient funds. In addition, I will reimburse you for any fees or costs you incur in attempting to collect any amounts from me. You are authorized to report the return of a transaction to any credit reporting agency.
Third-Party Fees. I understand and acknowledge that the use of third-party services may result in a payment fee being applied by the third-party vendor to any transferred funds. Such fees are governed by any agreements and disclosures provided by the applicable third-party vendor. Florida Community Bank is not liable or responsible for any such transaction fee.
Proprietary Rights. I acknowledge and agree that the Bank and parties with whom it has contracted own all rights in and to the People Pay service. As such, I understand that I am only allowed to use People Pay for my personal use in the manner provided by this Agreement.
Bank’s Liability. I agree that Bank shall not be liable to me for any losses, claims, damages, costs, or other consequences caused by or related to any of the following: (i) any actions of Bank that are based on information, data, or instructions that I provide to Bank; (ii) any unauthorized actions initiated or caused by me or my agents; (iii) failure of any third party Vendor employed by Bank or any other third parties to perform; or (iii) failures or errors on the part of Internet service providers, telecommunications providers, or any other party’s own internal systems.
Termination. Access to the People Pay service may be suspended or terminated at the discretion of the Bank at any time. I understand that People Pay is a service provided through the Bank’s Consumer Online Banking or mobile banking service, and I understand that if my Online or Mobile Banking with Bank is cancelled for any reason, my ability to continue making payments through the People Pay service will be discontinued.
